Last month we launched the light version of our ceramic composite ‘super’ coating Crystal Serum, which has proved to be a great success among our professional detailer network and detailing enthusiasts alike.

Crystal Serum Light has opened the doors to DIY paint protection. Unlike Crystal Serum, Gtechniq’s highest performing coating, which if applied incorrectly needs to be wet sanded off a car’s surface, Serum Light offers ultimate performance – 80 percent of that of its parent product – but can be machine polished from your vehicle’s paintwork.

Here is what some of our Accredited Detailers are saying about the product:

Gtechniq Serum Light is easy to use, has great durability and hydrophobic qualities and of course comes with the Gtechniq Warranty – Clive Ford, Ultimate Shine Autos

We love Crystal Serum light as it is straightforward to use and has helped in achieving levels of gloss, shine, and protection, surpassing other products we have used in the past. This leaves us in no doubt that Serum Light will be our coating of choice for 2016. Customers are blown away when they come to collect their cars from us – John Hole, Clean and Shiny

Crystal Serum Light is good because it gives the home user access to newer technologies with less of the risk associated with Crystal Serum – Alan Medcraf, AM Details

Serum Light forms an ultra-durable, high-gloss, slick-to-touch, chemically bonding, inorganic layer of 9h optically clear ceramic. Once applied, gloss levels will remain higher for significantly longer when compared to traditional paint protection products, and cleaning your car will be a breeze.

The high density ceramic layer is resistant to chemicals ranging from pH2 – pH12. And contaminants such as tree sap, tar, and hard water spots are much easier to remove from a car’s paintwork.

Unlike mainstream wax and organic polymer coatings, Serum Light can resist much higher and lower temperatures, from minus 40 degrees Celsius to as high as 250 degrees Celsius.

Crystal Serum Light can be applied to a car as a stand-alone product, or for the definitive hydrophobic finish, it can be over coated with Gtechniq EXO or C2.
